Kingdom Buffet!

By Paul G. Williams

The same is true when it comes to the Kingdom of God and where spiritual realities are concerned. You must feed on the meats of the buffet table God has for you because you will need them later on when the storms of life come crashing in. Just as I can tell when someone has been lifting weights regularly, I can tell when someone has been feeding on the meat of Gods Kingdom Buffet. They are fat in faith, grace, love, peace, and hope.

Grace to you, and the peace of God be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and Jesus the Christ our King.

1. Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Isaiah 55:1
2. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Isaiah 55:1,2

Thank God that He has more food at His table than some churches serve up! Religion has a way of serving the same old dry or stale food that can feed only babes. The Kingdom of God has plenty of meat to delight in. If you are finding yourself in the same old rut, and can't seem to break free from the norm, this lesson is for you.

"I am the living bread that came from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. The bread I will give to bring life to the world is my flesh." John 6:51 (Gods Word Translation)

Last month we were looking into what the fear of the Lord has to offer the believer. We discovered that there are plenty of promises to feed upon for proper nutrition and achieving spiritual maturity. In the verse above, Jesus is getting right to the point about where our nutrition is to come from. His flesh is His Blood and Body. The blood is for all the things that came to us through redemption. Those are the accomplished facts such as wisdom, righteousness, and sanctification. His Body is for all the promises that must be procured by faith in His Word. These promises are future facts that can be laid hold of with faith as present day realities. Healing, prosperity, and a blessed posterity are such facts.

The Blood brings objective realities, and the Body gives us subjective realities. Objective realities are what someone else has done for you by their choice without your help. In subjective realities, you are the subject and you take action. The blessed thing about this is that God graces us with His faith to lay hold of both realities!

If you are getting only salvation (objective) messages day after day from the place you choose to worship, you will be weakly where faith is concerned for your healing. This is no different than not eating your veggies because you don't like the color green. Yes it is your right to eat what you want but it doesn't pay off in the long run because it leads to poor blood, bone, and tissue later on when you need it to fight off disease. The reason you offer for not eating the foods that are good for you are called strongholds. Those reasons wrap around your thoughts and hold them captive until something else comes along and breaks them down so that the thought can be saved from it's way of thinking!

"Oh taste and see that Jehovah is good: Blessed is the man that taketh refuge in him." Psalm 34:8
They are the calm ones when bad news comes. They are the confident ones who already know the outcome of a thing and acting accordingly.

"He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him. He also will hear their cry, and will save them." Psalm 145:19
Knowing and eating the promises of those that fear (worship) the Lord will give you the assurance (quiet confidence) you'll need for the long haul, the rough roads, the valleys and pits along the way. Faith is not a movement it is a prescription. The just shall live by faith.
22. "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;" Hebrews 10:22,23

Only the Word can keep your hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience. The only way to do that with the Word is to eat it. By that I mean to meditate on the promises, and to pray the promises so that faith can come. Meditation reinforces the realities to the point where you desire meat instead of milk only. Milk is food that has already been eaten and processed. That is good , but that is not enough. Vegetarian mentality wont work here. It would be wrong to say you don't eat meat. Peter tried that and listen what the King Lord said to him.

5. I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:
6. Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
7. And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
8. But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.
9. But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. Acts 11:5-9

The excuse that Peter gave for rejecting meat was not acceptable by our King. When the King says that meat is good, then it's His way or the highway. When we reject the gifts of the Spirit, healing, prosperity, naming and claiming doctrine (better known as the faith movement), you are rejecting meat. That means you are rejecting growth.

12. "For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat,
13. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." Heb. 5:12-14

Kingdom Points:
1. His flesh is His Blood and Body. The blood is for all the things that came to us through redemption. Those are the accomplished facts such as wisdom, righteousness, and sanctification.
2. His Body is for all the promises that must be procured by faith in His Word. These promises are future facts that can be laid hold of with faith as present day realities. Healing, prosperity, and a blessed posterity are such facts.
3. Meditation reinforces the realities to the point where you desire meat instead of milk only. Milk is food that has already been eaten and processed. That is good , but that is not enough.

I trust that this Word of Faith message has been a blessing to you, and like all good things pass it on to some one you know can be blessed from this. Use it in bible studies that you conduct, and allow for questions. Remember you are not waiting on God, God is waiting on you.
